BSP/GSP Conduct Camporal and Encampment Mark Joshua | The SciHigh Torch - August 4, 2014 The girl scouts and boy scouts of Manjuyod Science High School were gathered together with the MSHS coordinator, Mrs. Remelou Medenilla. The two-day encampments was held at MNHS ground area which started on the 12th day of September 2014. During the first day, the rededication of laws and promises were led by the GSP/BSP officers followed by the activities involving the presentation of yells and the highlight of event was the Mr. and Miss Scouters 2014. Justine Mae Acibo with Kyle Patrick Rodriguez, and Kaye Ellen Marie Rodriguez with Ed Eirick Romano all together from the Grade-8 Darwin represented the Manjuyod Science High School. Kyle Patrick won as the 2nd runner-up and Justine Mae as the Miss Scouter 2014 while Ed Eirick C. Romano was declared as 1st Runner –up. They all become the pride of the very own Manjuyod Science High School. Preserving the environment and protecting our resources served as the atmosphere of the said affair. During the 2nd day, scouters performed the zumba dance led by the selected students. The symposium was led by the Manjuyod nurse and the lecture about fire hazard and first-aid mechanism headed by the fireman of the Municipality of Manjuyod, Mr. Oliver Doroin was successfully done, followed by the closing ceremony of the encampment.
The scouters have greatly achieved the interdependence of aspects and goals of the camporal much focusing on the ideas of persisting diligent and delightful concerns.
nMSHS celebrates Nutrition Month 2014 Sam Nickol C. Diada | The SciHigh Torch - August 5, 2014 The SSG officers together with Mr. Arnold B. Medez have worked together to comply all the needed matters for the success of 2014 Nutrition Month with the theme, “Kalamidad Paghandaan, Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan”. During the very first day of the month of July, the cooperation of the fourth year students contributed a lot on the making of bookmark which served as an essential factor for fund raising, since it was greatly needed to cover up and inadequate budget for the said activity. There were various activities which includes Poster Making, Decathlon, Essay Writing, and Vegetable Garden which were held before the day of culmination program. July 31, 2014 at 7:30 in the morning, a street parade was led by the MNHS Band Members along with the respective teachers and students. At exactly 10:00 am, the program started with Ercel Lee Sy (SSG Pres.) as the lady of ceremony. MSHS students spent so much effort during the preparation of each year level’s Jingle presentations which was considered to be the main highlight of the event. The awarding ceremony ended up a successful and jocund affair.
